ABOUT RUTH MAWER

Ruth started her journey with clay in 2019, she has worked tirelessly learning and developing her skills with expert tuition and guidance along the way.

Throughout the journey Ruth has explored with various methods of making but it was throwing on the potters wheel that she came to love and now concentrates her time on.

Ruth has a purpose built studio at home and spends many hours making and developing new ideas, using both porcelain and stoneware clays.

Ruth loves to explore with colour and is constantly mixing and layering stains and glazes to find new effects. 

Ruth finds commissions exciting and challenging and is always happy to explore and discuss ideas with clients.
